JAGIROAD: The All Assam Minority Students' Union (AAMSU), Jagiroad unit under the Morigaon district committee, submitted a memorandum to the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Morigaon, Dr Nanda Singh Borkola on Monday demanding a check into the rising trend of drugs peddling activities at Jagiroad.
The memorandum stated that drug trade was going on in various parts of the town. The student body demanded stringent action against the drugs peddlers. The memorandum was signed by Morigaon district AAMSU president Diluar Hussain and other leaders.
