AASU protests against deplorable condition of National Highway in Tinsukia

TINSUKIA: Tinsukia Regional Students' Union staged a human chain protest to demand repair of the deplorable condition of the National Highway and other roads on Tuesday. Led by Udip Borpatra and Nayan Jyoti Bezbaruah, president and secretary respectively, more than 100 AASU activists including Satyajit Borgohain, assistant general secretary of Tinsukia District Students' Union joined the protest at SKF Point-Over Bridge in Tinsukia. Expressing failure on the part of Tinsukia MLA and Minister Sanjoy Kishan in this respect, the AASU activists demanded immediate repair of the roads to provide respite to the common people.
