Tinsukia: Based on secret information, a joint operation by 3rd Garhwal Rifles and Assam Police apprehended one active NSCN (IM) cadre in Makum under Tinsukia District on Friday.
The apprehended NSCN (IM) cadre was identified as Biswajit Pangey.
The 3rd Garhwal Rifles and Assam Police had also recovered one 9mm pistol and 4 live ammunition from his possession.
