DEMOW: The Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba ChatraParishad (AJYCP) Demow Regional Committee burnt the effigy of State Food and Civil Supplies Minister PhaniBhusanChoudhury in DemowChariali on the NH-37 Road on Saturday in protest against his 'failure' to control the steep hike in the prices of essential commodities. The activists of AJYCP Demow Regional Committee shouted various slogans against the Food and Civil Supplies Department and minister PhaniBhusanChoudhury.
