UDALGURI: The Udalguri district committee of All Assam Madhyamik Shikshak aru Karmachari Santha has requested the State government to resolve the teachers’ problems for the development of educational scenario in Assam. In a meeting held at Bengbari High School, the teachers’ representatives have expressed their deep anguishes over the teachers’ engagement in NRC and other activities of the Assam government. There are many vacancies in the schools and the teachers' scarcity has badly affected the educational environment in the district.
The meeting has also discussed the tussle of four academic calendars in the amalgamated schools. Bhabesh Narzary and Sukra Rabha of Udalguri HS School, Katiram Boro of Ambagaon Bodo High School, Anirudha Das of Harisinga HS School, Jagadish Chandra Deka of Orang HS School and several others took part in the interaction. Pratap Bhatta, vice president of the union reiterated that the organization should play an important role to resolve the problems of teachers and employees. Nomal Daimari the headmaster of Bengbari High School delivered the welcome speech and expressed his satisfaction over the organizational activities.
