‘All Congress candidates will win in Chaygaon’: MLA Rekibuddin Ahmed

MLA Rekibuddin Ahmed started the election campaign ahead of the second phase of state Panchayat Election which will be held on May 7 at Gumi in Chaygaon.

BOKO: Chaygaon LAC Congress MLA Rekibuddin Ahmed on Friday started the election campaign ahead of the second phase of state Panchayat Election which will be held on May 7 at Gumi in Chaygaon. AGP leaders of the Chaygaon LAC area joined the INC party during the election rally in the presence of MLA Rekibuddin Ahmed. MLA Rekibuddin Ahmed took part in an election rally for the 4 No. Pub Chamaria ZPC Congress candidate Hazarat Ali (Little) and Gumi Anchalik Panchayat candidate Mainul Haque.

Rekibuddin Ahmed assured that the Gumi-Mohgor road will be constructed which is now a kaccha road. He further emphasised that the people of the Goroimari, Gumi area feel better because now they can go to Guwahati city through the newly-constructed road by the riverine of the mighty Brahmaputra. Ahmed also highlighted several development works for the people in the Chaygaon LAC and urged the people of the Chaygaon area to cast their votes to Congress without any hesitation for the comprehensive development of each and every Panchayat.

MLA Rekibuddin Ahmed also assured that Congress will win every seat in the Panchayat election under Chaygaon LAC. Further, he urged the people not to engage in election-related disputes in view of the Panchayat elections.
