JAMUGURIHAT: The alumni meet of the alumni association of Chatia College was held at the conference hall of the college with Narayan Hazarika, President of the alumni association, in the chair. The meet began with illumination of the ceremonial lamp by Ganesh Pathak, President of the governing body of the college. Naduar MLA Padma Hazarika who is also an alumnus of the college unveiled the souvenir compiled by the alumni association. The meeting was addressed by Dr Swapan Kumar Kalita, Principal of the college. The event was attended by eminent dramatist and script writer Pankaj Jyoti Bhuyan, Anuj Kumar Saikia, teachers of the college, alumni, and the students. Chandan Bora, General Secretary of the alumni association conducted the proceedings.
