Assam: 300 members from different parties join BPF in Tamulpur district

A joint workers’ meeting of BPF was held at Goreswar Block committee office of the BPF in Tamulpur district on Thursday.

KOKRAJHAR: A joint workers’ meeting of BPF was held at Goreswar Block committee office of the BPF in Tamulpur district on Thursday.

Talking to The Sentinel, youth wing leader of BPF Prahallad Brahma said various issues of the region were discussed in the worker’s meet including preparedness of the party to contest in the forthcoming BTC elections to be held in September this year. He said the BPF had been closely monitoring the failures of UPPL led coalition government of BTR. He also said the people of the region had realized the failure of the UPPL led coalition government in BTR and they want BPF coming back to power. He claimed that the BPF will undoubtedly return to power by capturing majority seats as people of the region have confident on the BPF.

The workers’ meeting was attended by Rinjay Boro,  president of youth wing BPF, vice presidents of the youth wing BPF-prahallad Brahma, Kastom Basumatary, general secretary of the youth wing Maneswar Brahma and president of the women wing BPF-Supriya Rani Brahma. In the meeting as many as 300 members from the UPPL and Congres joined the BPF.
