Assam: 515th Chilarai Divas Observed in Tinsukia District

TINSUKIA: The Tinsukia District Committee of All Koch-Rajbonshi Students’ Union (AKRASU) along with Sadou Asom Koch-Rajbonshi Sanmiloni, Koch-Rajbonshi Mahila Parishad observed the 515th Chilarai Divas with a day-long programme at Pensioner Bhawan Tinsukia on Wednesday. The event witnessed presentation of Rajbonshi geet, dance recital, and address by the keynote speaker. The open meeting, chaired by Nirab Borah, President Koch-Rajbonshi Sanmiloni Tinsukia District Committee, was formally inaugurated by Indrani Borpuzari and was addressed by Dr Thanuram Mazinder, Principal Padmanath Gohain Baruah Government Model College, who spoke on the contribution of the great Koch legendary warrior. Earlier Utpal Dutta, President AKRASU Tinsukia District Committee, hoisted the flag while Pranita Rajbonshi Koch paid floral tributes at the portrait of Chilarai and Dimpi Dutta lit the ceremonial lamp.
