Assam: AJYCP hosts Iftar party in Sipajhar

TANGLA: In a bid to mark the Islamic holy month of Ramzan, an Iftar party was hosted by the regional unit of Sipajhar of Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuva Chatra Parishad (AJYCP).

at Lakshminath Bezbaruah Jatiya Vidyalaya in Sipajhar of Darrang district on Wednesday. The Iftar party was largely attended by faithfuls of neighbouring areas of Sipajhar, including Maroi, Turai, Chengeliajar, and Byaspara. “It is an effort to enliven the social gatherings on the occasion of Ramzan and spread the message of brotherhood among the people,” said President of the Darrang chapter of AJYCP, Jayanta Sarma. He emphasized the importance of community engagement and social responsibility, urging the youth to take an active role in fostering peace and unity in society.
