Assam: AJYCP's 21st Central Biennial Convention to Be Held in Golaghat from April 4-6

The 21st Central Biennial Convention of Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) is set to be held at Samannaykhetra in Golaghat Town from April 4 to 6.

GOLAGHAT: The 21st Central Biennial Convention of Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) is set to be held at Samannaykhetra in Golaghat Town from April 4 to 6, with a three-day long programme.

For the smooth conduct of the programme, an organizing  committee has already been formed in this connection with Dr Debajit Phukan as President, Purnarajkhowa, Diganta Bhuyan, Parikshit Dutta, and Atul Gogoi as working presidents, Jitul Rajkhowa as Chief Secretary, and Diganta Chetia, Abdul Hasim, and Jayanta Saikia as joint secretaries along with different sub-committees.

In this regard, President and Secretary of AJYCP Golaghat District Committee said that AJYCP has been fighting for safety of Assam’s indigenous people and for overall socio-economic, cultural, and educational development.

The programme will be started with hoisting of the flag and followed by smriti tarpan. Later, inauguration of representation camp, registration of representatives, meeting of representatives and lighting of land in the evening will be done with which the first day’s programme will be concluded.

On the 2nd day, the programme will be started with community cleanliness drive, cultural procession, open session, and cultural programme and the last day representative meeting will be held and famous singer Zubin Garg will perform at the cultural night. The organizers have appealed to the public to extend cooperation and ensure the success of the three-day programme.
