Assam Assembly Speaker Biswajit Daimary visited Bodo village Kacharipather near Namrup

NAHARKATIA: Assam Assembly Speaker Biswajit Daimary visited Bodo village Kacharipather near Namrup on Friday. The Assembly Speaker Biswajit Daimary arrived at Kachripather village at the invitation of Naharkatia MLA Taranga Gogoi, and held discussions with the people of the village on various issues and took part in offering prayers at the Bathou temple of the Bodo community. In an interaction with the media, Daimary said the Bodo or Kachari people were scattered in different parts of Assam and they were looking to meet him and were happy to be in this village today. Bodos or Kachari people are coming forward to do various things for the new society or for their future generations. It may be recalled that on Thursday Daimary arrived from Jonai and reached Namrup and spent the night at the guest house of The Namrup Thermal and visited Kacharipather and met the people of the village.
