Assam: Autorickshaw Rams Into Parked Truck, One Dies

GUWAHATI : One more death case has been registered due to accident in Assam's Cachar district. Many individuals received injury while one lost his live after an auto rickshaw ramped into a truck that was parked aside.

As per the reports, the episode took place at Cachar district's Kalain area on 29th of January, Sunday. The truck was reportedly parked in the side of a road, when an auto with a high speed crashed into it from behind.

Four people inside the ramming vehicle got severely injured in the accident. Unfortunately, a man identified as Dharmendra Sinha dies at the spot of incident. As soon as the information was received by the concerned authorities, a team of police arrived at the spot and tried to calm the situation down.

The injured victims were rushed to Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH) for medical attention. According to police official, their condition is critical and still under danger. On 28th of January, Saturday, another gruesome accident took place in Assam's Rangiya district.

Two individuals died on spot after a dumper over them. As per sources, the episode occurred in Rangia tiniali. The deceased victims has been identified as Nazim Ali and Hatim Ali, who were residents of Narayangaon. Eyewitnesses with utter aggression attempted to set the dumper on fire for killing two innocent people.

However, a team of police rushed to the spot immediately and tranquillised the situation. The local people claimed that, the area is getting dangerous for pedestrians as well others because of the fast moving heavy vehicles.

They also gathered and initiated a strike while restricting movement in the Rangia-Bhutan connecting road. In another episode that took place in Assam's Dhubri district, two girls lost their lives following a major accident in the region. As per the reports, a car collided with a truck which resulted in the death of two along with five people receiving severe injuries.

The deceased victims has been identified as Nirmali Rai and Shivangi Rai. They both were only 16 and 14 years old. When both the vehicles came into a head on collision, two motorbikes parked on the road, also got damaged.
