KOKRAJHAR: Chief Executive Member (CEM) of BTR Pramod Boro on Tuesday held a meeting with the representatives of Initiatives of Change (IoFC) at his official residence in Kokrajhar on promoting peace, justice, and collective well-being.
CEM Boro said that he had a meaningful interaction with Kiran Gandhi, Managing Trustee of the Initiatives of Change (IoFC), Panchgani, Maharashtra, Penuo Heikha from Nagaland, former Trustee of Initiatives of Change (IoFC) India, and a trainer in ethical governance and personality development, and Vitono Haralu, Community Radio Jockey with All India Radio (AIR), Nagaland, and esteemed members of the All Naga Mothers Association. He said that their discussion centred on the vital role of institutional development in promoting peace, justice, and collective well-being. “We reflected on how sustainable peace in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) requires spaces that nurture ethical values, emotional intelligence, and inner transformation, especially within our public institutions”, he added.
Boro appreciated Kiran Gandhi for his weeklong visit to Bodoland, during which he held impactful sessions with diverse groups from former militant groups to media professionals, BTC Secretariat employees, and BTR Fellows. He also said that his presence and thoughtful engagements have left a lasting impression. He further said that he acknowledged the Bodoland Happiness Mission team for their active participation and continued dedication to healing, reconciliation, and building a peaceful future for our region.
