Assam Cabinet Minister Kaushik Rai Reviews Development Projects in Sribhumi

Assam's Minister of Food, Public Distribution & Consumer Affairs, Kaushik Rai, led a meeting in Sribhumi to review the progress of key development projects.

SRIBHUMI: Kaushik Rai, the Minister of Food, Public Distribution & Consumer Affairs of Assam, led a meeting at the District Commissioner's office in Sribhumi, Assam, to review the progress of development projects. The meeting was organized by Deputy Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Dwivedi, focused on checking how important projects were progressing and discussing any challenges in their implementation.

The meeting was attended by local MLAs and Heads of Departments (HODs), who gave updates on ongoing projects. The discussions focused on speeding up development, finishing projects on time, and improving coordination between departments. They also talked about how to overcome challenges and make the work more efficient for the public.

Meanwhile, a crime review meeting had been held the previous day at the Conference Hall of the Office of the Superintendent of Police, Cachar. The meeting had been attended by several key officials, including DIGP (SB) Ratna Singha, IPS, DIGP (SR) Kangkan Jyoti Saikia, IPS, SP Cachar, and Addl. District & Sessions Judge (Special POCSO), Cachar.

Also present had been the ADC, Joint Director Health, Supdt. of Silchar Medical College & Hospital, Addl. PP Silchar Court, DTO Cachar, and all GOs of Cachar DEF, along with all OCs and ICs of Cachar DEF.

The meeting discussed important issues about crime and law enforcement in the region. Officials talked about how to make security better and solve problems related to stopping crime and ensuring justice.
