Assam: Ceremonial distribution of tablet PCs held in Biswanath District

The Samagra Siksha, Biswanath District organized the ceremonial distribution of tablet PCs among the mentees under the Arohan scheme.

BISWANATH CHARIALI: The Samagra Siksha, Biswanath District organized the ceremonial distribution of tablet PCs among the mentees under the Arohan scheme, Government of Assam today in Biswanath Commerce Senior Secondary School.

Inaugurating the distribution, Biswanath MLA Pramod Borthakur called upon the students to properly use the tablets. The welcome address was delivered by Rakesh Deka, Additional District Commissioner (Education) and District Mission Coordinator, SSA, Biswanath, in the programme.

Conducting the programme, Bedabrat Borah, District Programme Officer, shed light on the Arohan scheme. Bhaben Deuri, DEEO, Biswanath, Peter Choudhary, BEEO, Biswanath, Marami Bhattacharya, retired vice-principal of Biswanath College, Purabi Bhattacharya, Principal of Biswanath Commerce Senior Secondary School, and others were present in the meeting.

A total of hundred tablet PCs were distributed among the mentees coming from different secondary schools under Biswanath district.
