DIBRUGARH: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell, ICGPC, Internship Cell and Chemistry Department of DHSK College (Autonomous) jointly organized a workshop on “Modalities of the Internship and Community Engagement Course” on Friday.
The workshop was conceptualized and actively initiated by the principal of the college, Dr Sashi Kanta Saikia, and academic coordinator Dr Uttam Mohan.
Professor Pankaj Das, Dean of the Research and Development Department, Department of Chemistry, and Dr Prabwal Jyoti Phukon, Associate Professor of Physics, Department of Dibrugarh University, were present as resource persons.
The workshop was moderated by Dr Anisha Dutta of the Department of Chemistry. The two resource persons delivered informative lectures on “Internship and Community Engagement courses” in the fifth semester of the four-year degree course.
The welcome address was given by Dr Dipankoj Gogoi, Coordinator, Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the college. Around 100 faculty from DHSK College (Autonomous), DHSK Commerce College and Manohari Devi Kanoi Girls’ College actively participated in the workshop.
The event was attended by Abhijit Baruah, Vice Principal, DHSK College, and Dr Anup Jyoti Bharali, Principal, MDKG College.
