The campaign aims to enhance public awareness, particularly in high-priority areas across the district. It will cover 120 villages and tea gardens, focusing on schools, colleges, and community groups. Activities will include door-to-door outreach, miking, and special health camps offering counselling. Slum areas, often with higher risk and limited healthcare access, will receive dedicated awareness programmes. This district-wide IEC campaign seeks to reverse the rising trend of new HIV infections and strengthen public understanding of prevention. The event was attended by Pranjal Baruah, ADC (Health), Dibrugarh; Dr. Dimpy Borthakur, SDM&HO (Public Health); Dr. Ravi Baruah, District AIDS Control Officer; as well as staff from the NTEP and students of Dibrugarh University.
