Assam: Dibrugarh University students shine at Icon Youth 2025

Dibrugarh Univ’s Kunal Agarwal & Parsha Das represent NE at Icon Youth 2025 in Mangalore, showcasing regional talent on an international stage.

DIBRUGARH: Kunal Agarwal and Parsha Das, students of Dibrugarh University, proudly represented the North-East region of India at the prestigious International Conference Icon Youth 2025, held from May 15 to May 16 at Yenepoya (deemed to be university) in Mangalore, Karnataka.

Organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, in collaboration with Yenepoya University, the conference was themed “Envisioning India’s Future: Youth as Changemakers.”

Icon Youth  2025 brought together youth leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and changemakers from around the world who are committed to shaping an inclusive and empowered future. The event featured an impressive lineup of international resource persons, TEDx speakers, entrepreneurs, policy analysts, and academic leaders from countries including Russia, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, and Thailand, as well as from across India.

The conference provided a dynamic platform for learning, collaboration, and the showcasing of youth-led innovation. Kunal and Parsha actively participated in various discussions and sessions, proudly representing Dibrugarh University and embodying the spirit of youth leadership from the North-East region.

Their active involvement reflects the growing contribution of the North-East to national and international youth forums. The event also celebrated cultural diversity, with participants enjoying warm hospitality and traditional South Indian cuisine.
