A CORRESPONDENT
BOKAKHAT: Under the initiative of the Golaghat District Literary Society and in collaboration with the Kaliyni Branch Literary Society, Hemchandra Baruah Memorial Day will be observed on April 30 at the Numaligarh Nagarik Unnayan Mancha in Telgorom.
The flag for the morning assembly will be hoisted by Neelakanta Bora, President of the Kaliyni Branch Literary Society. The memorial offering (Smriti Tarpan) will be performed by Titaram Das, the Chief Advisor of the branch.
The memorial meeting will be presided over by Muhiram Loinge, Vice-President of the Golaghat District Literary Society, and the keynote speaker will be Dr Dipali Bora, retired professor of Golaghat Debraj Roy College.
