DIGBOI/TINSUKIA: In a bizarre incident an armed AISF (Assam Industrial Security Force) jawan shot dead his colleague at Digboi’s Muliabari camp on Tuesday afternoon. According to information, AISF jawan Udesh Majhi who hails from Milan Nagar under Mathurapur PS of Charaideo district had a heated argument with his fellow colleague Bimal Urang over some monetary deal. Without any provocation, Majhi opened fire at Urang from his SLR service rifle that killed Urang on the spot. Urang hailed from Geleki Modinagar Tea Estate of the same district. Majhi was allegedly in an inebriated condition at the time of incident. Digboi police arrested the killer.
