Assam: Injured leopard cub rescued from Sonari tea garden

A leopard cub was rescued in an injured state from Sonari tea garden on Wednesday.

NAZIRA: A leopard cub was rescued in an injured state from Sonari tea garden on Wednesday. Locals spotted the cub and informed the forest department, which led to the rescue operation. The Sonari range forest department, along with nature enthusiasts Jyotiprasad Baruah and Robin Bailung, worked together to rescue the cub.

The incident drew a crowd of curious onlookers who gathered at the scene to catch a glimpse of the cub. The rescue operation was successful, and the cub is now receiving care.
