Assam: Margherita girl Mehak Lama wins ‘IDP Little Master Season-2’

Mehak Lama, an 8-year-old dancing sensation from Margherita, has brought pride to her hometown and the entire state by winning the prestigious ‘IDP Little Master Season-2’ competition held in Bhopal.

MARGHERITA: Mehak Lama, an 8-year-old dancing sensation from Margherita, has brought pride to her hometown and the entire state by winning the prestigious ‘IDP Little Master Season-2’ competition held in Bhopal today. Mehak Lama, a resident of 1 number Bargolai Gopal Dham under Margherita Co-District has been passionate about dance and fashion shows since she was three years old. She has won numerous awards in various dance and fashion competitions held across Assam and the North-East region.

Mehak Lama’s impressive dance performance on the TV show has made her a celebrity in her hometown Margherita and her achievement has been widely appreciated by the people of Assam. Her parents Kaju Lama and Bandana Chetry Lama are overwhelmed with joy and pride, and they attribute their daughter’s success to her hard work and dedication.

Without any formal dance training, Mehak has made a name for herself in the dance world. She learnt to dance by watching TV and YouTube videos at home, said Bandana Chetry Lama. Mehak dreams of becoming a professional dancer and an ideal teacher when she grows up. She is sure to achieve her goals and make her community proud, said Ranjit Chetry, social worker of Bargolai.
