SIVASAGAR: In a vibrant and inspiring celebration of academic excellence, Purvottar Hindustani Yuva Chhatra Parishad, a leading social organization of Sivasagar, organized a felicitation ceremony on Sunday at the Rotary Club auditorium to honour students who excelled in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary (HS) final examinations.
The event was presided over by Samir Basfor, President of the Sivasagar District Committee of the Purvottar Hindustani Yuva Chhatra Parishad, while Papu Sahu, a key organizer and representative of the Parishad, coordinated the function.
Several figures from the fields of education, journalism, and social activism graced the occasion as invited guests, which included Mridul Das, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the SC Students’ Union, Pranjal Das, President of the Central Committee of the BR Ambedkar Foundation, Sunil Singh, Chief Organizer of the Purvottar Hindustani Yuva Chhatra Parishad, Rafikul Karim, Teacher at Rangpur Rashtrabhasha High School, journalists Atanu Bora, Himangshu Neog, Umesh Balduwa, Anil Gupta, and Firoz Ahmed.
The programme featured a series of motivational speeches, where the guests praised the students’ achievements and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in their future academic and professional endeavours. They also emphasized the importance of education in shaping society and upliftment of underprivileged communities.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Sunil Singh, who expressed deep gratitude to all participants, guests, and media personnel for their support and contribution in making the event a memorable and meaningful occasion.
