Acting swiftly, the Margherita police and District Child Protection Officer Shyam Upadhyay responded to the call and successfully freed the girl from captivity.

In a separate incident from the Bashbari area of Bargolai, a 6-year-old boy has gone missing, raising concerns about a possible child trafficking network in the region.
