Guwahati: As part of the Assam State Rural Livelihoods Mission, a significant community meeting was held on Monday evening around 4 PM at Uriagaon, Nagaon. The event saw the presence of Rupak Sarmah, MLA of Nowgong constituency, who interacted with women members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) from Uriagaon Gaon Panchayat, Singia Potani Gaon Panchayat, and Katani Gaon Panchayat under the Triveni CLF.
During the session, MLA Sarmah engaged in meaningful discussions with the SHG women on various issues related to community development, self-reliance, and economic empowerment. He praised their efforts and encouraged them to continue contributing actively to the region’s growth.
Also present at the meeting was Shankha Prabalya Chandilya, District Project Manager of the Assam State Rural Livelihoods Mission, along with other local officials and community leaders.
