DHUBRI: Mystery shrouds the death of Post Graduate student Bishesh Kejriwal of Gauripur town of Dhubri District on May 4, studying in Delhi. A shock wave was cast in the town as soon as residents of Gauripur heard the news of 22-year-old Bishesh’s death, and they thronged his house located in the heart of the town. The police officials’ version is that Bishesh committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling, but family members outrightly rejected it and instead alleged premeditated murder and then hanging to show it as suicide.

Talking to The Sentinel, father of Bishesh, Santosh Kejriwal, said that on May 4 around 10 PM, he received a call from Sub-Inspector (SI) Rajkumar Gahlawat, informing him that his son had committed suicide. “After that, my elder son Piyush called on Bishesh’s phone, and the same SI attended the call and told Piyush the same thing,” said Santosh Kejriwal.

To confirm whether it was really Bishesh, Santosh requested the SI to share a photo of the deceased, which the SI did. ?

“The next day, when we arrived in Delhi at around 8:30 AM, we headed directly towards SS JOON PG HOUSE. There, we asked some boys to tell us what had exactly happened. Everyone was in shock and said that they couldn’t understand how it all happened,” Santosh shared with a heavy heart.

Santosh alleged that police did not see the CCTV footages and immediately jumped into conclusion and took the suicide angle of the death. He wanted a proper investigation into the case as there was reportedly footage in CCTV that three boys entered the PG at night and left around 3.30 AM.
