NAZIRA: A preparatory meeting was held on July 22 at the Nazira Co-district Commissioner’s office to ensure a peaceful and successful celebration of the upcoming Independence Day. The meeting, chaired by CDC, Nazira, discussed departmental responsibilities and duties in detail to make the celebration a grand success.
The meeting deliberated on security and safety arrangements, as well as the programmes to be performed during the main Independence Day event. The CDC also urged the heads of government departments to ensure cleanliness, security, and safety measures in their respective offices before Independence Day.
He appealed to all officials and employees to discharge their duties with dedication and make the Independence Day celebrations a success. Notably, various competitions such as badminton, football, and drawing will be organized to coincide with Independence Day.
The meeting was attended by the assistant commissioners of Nazira co-district, heads of various government departments, journalists, senior citizens, and prominent personalities of Nazira.
