TANGLA: Noted social worker and senior citizen Md. Didaruddin Ahmed, a reverred personality of Banseria locality near Tangla town of Udalguri district breathed his last on Wednesday due to old age ailments. He is survived by his wife, four sons, one daughter, besides a host of relatives, and well-wishers. A large number of mourners gathered at his residence to pay their final respects to the bereaved soul. Former vice president of the All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) and advisor of Udalguri chapter of AASU , Dr. Jayanta Kumar Bhattacharjya general secretary of the All Koch Rajbongshi Students’ Union(AKRSU) Hemanta Bora Koch; joint secretary of the Senior Citizens’ Forum, Binod Mahanta; president of the Tangla Sahitya Sabha, Ghateshwar Baruah among others paid tribute to the bereaved soul. The largely attended janaza prayer was held at Banseria Kaberastan. Various institutions and individuals of Tangla Media Circle, Assam BJP Minority Morcha President,Santiuse Kujur have mourned the demise and expressed condolence to the bereaved family members.
