Assam: Over 1,200 Aspirants Appear for Gauhati University Law Entrance Exams

Principal of the Gauhati University Law College extended best wishes to all candidates and expressed gratitude to the university authorities for conducting the examinations.

GUWAHATI: The entrance examinations for the LL.B., B.A., LL.B./B.A., and LL.B. (Hons.) programs at Gauhati University’s Law College for the 2025-26 academic session were successfully held on Tuesday, July 22, attracting students from across Northeast India.

A total of 1,233 candidates appeared for the examinations, with an attendance rate of 85.82% for the three-year LL.B. program and 87.52% for the B.A., LL.B./B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) program.

Professor Nani Gopal Mahanta, Vice Chancellor, commented, “Gauhati University has maintained its academic standards and conducted the Law College entrance examinations in an orderly manner, alongside other entrance tests. We hope all candidates achieve their desired results.”
