Assam Minister Pijush Hazarika Lays Foundation Stone Of Mineral Mixers Project To Boost Dairy Sector

This initiative, under the Assam Milk, Meat, and Egg Mission of CMSGUY, aims to uplift institutions like Sitajakhala and benefit dairy farmers through the production of cattle feed.

MORIGAON: Assam Minister Pijush Hazarika laid the foundation stone of the Mineral Mixers project at Sitajakhala Cooperative Society premises, Roumari in Assam's Morigaon district on February 9. This initiative, under the Assam Milk, Meat, and Egg Mission of CMSGUY, aims to uplift institutions like Sitajakhala and benefit dairy farmers through the production of cattle feed.

Taking to his official social media handle X, he stated, "Gratitude to Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma Dangoriya for this significant step towards strengthening the socio-economic sector through dairy farming."

Meanwhile, Assam is undergoing a major transformation in public education, with more than 500 high and higher secondary schools being upgraded at Rs 7 to 10 crore each. Furthering this vision, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma laid the foundation stone for the upgradation of Palashbari Aanchalik High School into a National Model School of Excellence under the PM SHRI scheme at Agchia, Majirgaon, Palashbari.

Similarly, the growth and development in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) continues to inspire progress, with Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma laying the foundation stone for the administrative building of Kokrajhar University earlier in January.

The university, envisioned as a center of excellence, will offer advanced courses in fields such as AI, robotics, and more. A funding of Rs. 50 crore has been announced for its development, further strengthening the region's educational infrastructure.
