Assam: PM SHRI Students from Khatkhati Kendriya Vidyalaya Visit NIT Nagaland for Educational Field Trip

As part of the PM SHRI activities, students of classes 10, 11, and 12 (Science) from PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Khatkhati participated in an enlightening field trip to the NIT, Nagaland.

GOLAGHAT: As part of the PM SHRI (PM Schools for Rising India) activities, students of classes 10, 11 (Science), and 12 (Science) from PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Khatkhati participated in an enlightening field trip to the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Nagaland, on Friday. The visit was facilitated under the guidance of four dedicated escorting teachers.

The purpose of the visit was to provide students with hands-on exposure to the world of higher education, scientific innovation, and technological advancements. Organized under the framework of PM SHRI activities, the programme aimed to promote holistic development and inspire students to pursue their academic and career aspirations in the fields of science and technology.

Upon arrival, the students were warmly received by the faculty members of NIT Nagaland, who conducted engaging sessions and guided them through various departments and state-of-the-art laboratories. Students witnessed live demonstrations of modern technologies and explored research work in progress, bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world applications.

“This visit has opened up a world of opportunities for our students,” said one of the escorting teachers. “The exposure they received today will motivate them to think big and strive for excellence in their academic pursuits. PM SHRI initiatives like these are critical in shaping the future of young minds.

The students were particularly captivated by the interactive discussions with professors, who shared insights into the cutting-edge fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Many students expressed their excitement.

The day concluded with a group photograph capturing the enthusiasm and inspiration of the students and teachers alike. This educational exposure, conducted under the PM SHRI activities, was a testament to the school’s dedication to nurturing future leaders and innovators.
