TINSUKIA: Tinsukia police seized a sizeable quantity of drugs concealed in soap cases from a vehicle coming from Karbi Anglong at Borguri bypass on the outskirts of Tinsukia on Friday. The drugs weighing 318.49 grams were recovered along with apprehension of 2 peddlers. The ASP Mrinmoy Das told media on Saturday that based on credible information, a team of

Tinsukia police carried out naka search and detained a Bolero vehicle bearing number AS 10 A 8037 at Borguri bypass.

Following a thorough search, 318.49 grams of suspected heroin concealed in 28 soap cases were recovered and apprehended 2 persons who have been identified as Chungmang Singson (35 yrs) and Deheminlen Singson (30 yrs) both resident of Kuki Colony of Karbi Anglong’s Manza police station.
