BONGAIGAON: A contractual employee of Assam Power Distribution Corporation Limited (APDCL) died in a mishap on Thursday. Uday Ray (39), a resident of Deuripara area of Bongaigaon, fell from an electric post on Wednesday night during his restoration duty in the Pahartoli area of Nowapara No. 1 in Bongaigaon. He was admitted in a private nursing home of Bongaigaon where he breathed his last on Thursday. All staff of APDCL have condoled his demise.
