GUWAHATI: In a move aimed at reassuring the public, Assam's Power Minister and Dibrugarh MLA Prasanta Phukan has assured a steady and reliable power supply across the state. He stated that electricity availability is nearly certain, highlighting the government's commitment to ensuring uninterrupted service.
Phukan has urged citizens to directly report any power outages to him via phone calls, reinforcing the administration's proactive approach in addressing issues swiftly. Apart from overseeing the power sector, Phukan also holds key responsibilities as the Minister for Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship Department and Medical Education & Research Department, in addition to serving as the MLA of Dibrugarh LAC.
