DOOMDOOMA: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Culture Bimal Borah held a review meeting of Orunodoi, Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Assam Abhiyan, Mukhyamantrir Eti Koli Duti Paat, Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan, and other beneficiary schemes at the conference room of Sadiya Co-District Commissioner (CDC) on Wednesday.
The meeting was attended by MLA of Sadiya Bolin Chetia, CDC Manas Jyoti Nath, Assistant Commissioners Sadiya Co-District, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Sadiya Co-District, General Manager, District Industry & Commerce Centre, Assistant Director, Industry & Commerce, Sadiya co-district, BDO, Sadiya, Labour Inspector, Sadiya, and Saikhowa Block scheme officers of Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission (ASRLM), Executive Officer, Sadiya Municipal Board (SMB), Chairman, SMB, Zilla Parishad members of Sadiya co-district, mandal presidents of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Asom Gana Parishad, Jibika Sakhi, Bank Sakhi, Krishi Sakhi, Pashu Sakhi, and the officers of various government departments.
In the beginning, CDC Manas Jyoti Nath welcomed Minister Borah and MLA Chetia by offering tree saplings to both of them. Minister Borah interacted with Jibika Sakhi, Bank Sakhi, Krishi Sakhi, and Pashu Sakhi and enquired about the beneficiaries who were deprived of various schemes. He made an appeal to the officers to encourage the beneficiaries who were eligible for Mukhyamantrir Atma Nirvar Assam Abhiyan and advised the CDC to visit the tea gardens in connection with proper implementation of Eti Koli Duti Paat scheme.
The meeting came to an end after offering a vote of thanks by the CDC, Sadiya co-district.
