A CORRESPONDENT
JAMUGURIHAT: Lokra Battalion of Headquarter 21 Sector Assam Rifles and Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) felicitated a local youth on his final selection in Assam Police as constable on Tuesday at Lokra. Birendra Das, a resident of Sonitpur, underwent the pre-recruitment training at Lokra Battalion for preparation for recruitment rallies and finally got selected for Assam Police as constable. He will join the Central Training Institute, Assam Police in Guwahati for his training.
During the felicitation event, Col Nitesh Singh, Commandant, Lokra Battalion, appreciated his efforts and congratulated him and his family for the achievement. The commandant also motivated him to continue working hard in future to keep progressing in life.
