BONGAIGAON: Senior Citizens’ Day was celebrated with joy at the Senior Citizen Centre of Green Valley Society in Chirang on Thursday. The programme was organised by the Bongaigaon Jagriti branch of Marwari Yuva Manch.
Members of the branch organised various games for the senior citizens, who participated enthusiastically and also enjoyed dancing. The elderly residents also performed tribal and other traditional songs, while members of the branch and other guests joined them in singing.
The organisers also shared a meal with the senior citizens and distributed fruits, sweets, and biscuits.
