Assam: Swastika Mazumdar tops in Pragyan Pratibha Sandhani Examination 2025

Swastika Mazumdar (Class 4) and Janu Devi (Class 5) topped Tezpur Subdivision exams, scoring 128 and 131 marks respectively.

Dhekiajuli: In a proud moment for the entire Tezpur Subdivision, Tejaswini Goswami, a brilliant student of Silver Jubilee Primary School, Tezpur, has emerged as the State Topper in Class 4 in the prestigious Pragyan Pratibha Sandhani Examination 2025, organized by the Assam State Primary Teachers’ Association. Held on March 23 and participated in by students from across Assam, this was the first-ever edition of the state-level talent hunt. The results, declared on May 17, brought immense joy to Tezpur as Tejaswini clinched the No. 1 position in Assam with a remarkable score of 144 out of 150.

Her stellar achievement was celebrated with heartfelt enthusiasm during a felicitation ceremony held on May 19 at the school. Headmaster Bipin Chandra Nath, along with teachers, the school management committee, the mothers’ group, and proud parents, honoured Tejaswini for her extraordinary success. The Tezpur Subdivision’s academic brilliance continued with Swastika Mazumdar of No. 1 Chari Ali Primary School, Dhekiajuli Block, who topped Class 4 at the subdivision level, scoring an impressive 128 marks. In Class 5, Janu Devi of No. 1 Bardikorai Primary School, Naduar Block, stood first in the subdivision with a commendable 131 marks.

 Gaurav Mahanta, president, and Bhagawan Baishya, general secretary of the Tezpur Subdivision Primary Teachers’ Association, congratulated all seven meritorious students for their exceptional accomplishments. They praised the students’ dedication and expressed hope that their success would inspire many more young minds to strive for excellence. “These students are the future torchbearers of our region,” said Mahanta and Baishya.
