Guwahati: In a shocking incident, two minor girls were kidnapped while they were on their way to attend a marriage function in Goalpara.
A team of Assam police immediately began their investigation on this matter and came across sources and information that helped to rescue the girls.
The two minor girls were later rescued from Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh. The minor girls have been sent back to their homes under the watch of their lawful guardians.
The police are still investigating this matter and are leaving no stones unturned to arrest the culprits.
This news was shared on the official Twitter handle of Chirang police. The tweet read, "Two minor girls were kidnapped from Goalpara when they were going to attend a marriage ceremony. Engaging sources, our team recovered both the victim girls from Ghaziabad, UP. They have been handed over to their lawful guardian. Effort is on to nab the culprits."
