Assam: VHP, Bajrang Dal Stage Protest in Biswanath Over Pahalgam Attack

In strong outrage against the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal, Biswanath District Committee, held a protest at the intersection of Biswanath Chariali town.

BISWANATH CHARIALI: In strong outrage against the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal, Biswanath District Committee, held a protest at the intersection of Biswanath Chariali town on Friday. On this occasion, various sister organizations of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) such as Hindu Jagran Mancha, Kalyan Ashram, Assam, and other Hindu organizations participated in the protest in large numbers.  At the beginning, a tribute programme was organized in which VHP Biswanath District President Sapan Rajkhowa and Secretary Indrajit Gupta lit the lamp and offered floral tributes. For about two hours, the people present in the protest expressed their anger by raising slogans and carrying posters in their hands which read ‘Down with Pakistan,’ ‘Down with Islamic terrorists,’ ‘Stop atrocities on Hindus,’ etc. Biswanath Municipality Chairman Amar Jyoti Borthakur, Behali MLA Diganta Ghatowar, and others were also present in the programme.
