BISWANATH CHARIALI: The district-level planning meeting of Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), Biswanath was held on Thursday at the Victoria Wedding Hall, here. The meeting convened by District Secretary Jagrit Hazarika, was presided over by District President Sapon Rajkhowa.
In this meeting, Ankur Bezbaruah, the Gau-Raksha Pramukh of VHP’s North-East region, delivered a keynote speech regarding the planning of the upcoming Foundation Day. He informed that, as per the district plan, Foundation Day celebrations would be held in 11 locations across 11 blocks of the district from August 16 to August 24. He further stated that the grand and divine Ram temple in Ayodhya is the result of the selfless sacrifices made by the VHP workers since its inception. He emphasized that VHP has been continuously serving the Hindu society across the globe.
Kartik Garh, District Pracharak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Biswanath, addressed the gathering about the upcoming Centenary Celebration of RSS and the Mass Contact Campaign, urging participation and awareness. District President Sapon Rajkhowa, in his address, said that being able to work as a dedicated volunteer in a global organization like VHP was a blessing of the Almighty and that from the day he was entrusted with this responsibility, he had found a deep sense of satisfaction in serving the organization.
The names of the newly-appointed block heads across the 11 blocks of the district were announced in the meeting. The meeting was attended by Indrajit Gupta, Vice-President, VHP Biswanath, Bajrang Rouniyar, Amrit Tossa, Sibu Chandra Dey, Tankanath Ghimire, Pradyumna Kundu, and others.
