TINSUKIA: Expressing concern over non-inclusion of names in the complete draft NRC, the Tinsukia Zilla Hindivashi Mahasabha has urged upon the Bihar Government to expedite the pending verification with utmost priority.
Addressing a press meet on Thursday, Meera Singh, president, said the Mahasabha desired that no foreigner should get a place in the final NRC, so also all genuine Indian citizens must be included. Singh further revealed that the Mahasabha had opened a legal cell to assist the public on NRC matters at the Jyotinagar residence of RP Singh, former MLA of Tinsukia.
