TANGLA: After the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) formally announced the seat sharing equation and names of its candidates, BJP candidate of Kalaigaon LAC, Madhuram Deka visited Kalaigaon constituency on Sunday where he was accorded a warm welcome by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers and local people at Kalaigaon town in Udalguri district .
A bike rally was taken out from Garubandha to Kalaigaon Durga Mandir by the BJP workers on his arrival where he was felicitated by party workers and several local leaders on the road and at the local BJP office in Kalaigaon. Deka, accompanied by BTC Executive Member Diganta Baruah, first visited the Kalaigaon Durga Mandir where he offered prayers. Talking to media persons he said, "The BTC election has proved that BJP has a strong hold in the region and I am confident that people of Kalaigaon LAC will vote for the BJP in the forthcoming assembly polls."
