BOKAKHAT: As part of the celebration of the 79th Independence Day, the Bokakhat sub-divisional administration has invited all interested groups to participate in the cultural programme to be held at Bokakhat stadium. According to the announcement made by the administration, the auditions for the programme will be held on August 12 at Puwoti Xahitya Xabha Bhawan, Bokakhat from 10.30 AM. The auditions are open to teams from all levels of schools/colleges.
According to the rules, participation must be in group format and individual entries will not be allowed, prior approval from the respective educational institution is mandatory, performances must include Assamese ethnic dance, patriotic song-based dance, or any unique cultural presentation, each performance must be limited to a maximum of 5 minutes, and the decision of the judges regarding selection for the main programme will be final.
