Boko Police Station Officer patrol streets to enforce lockdown in Boko

BOKO: A police team led by Deputy Superintendent Kalyan Kumar Pathak and Boko Police Station officer in-charge Jogendra Barman patrolled in the Boko constituency on Saturday.

During the patrolling, police personnel gave punishment to the violators of the government-imposed nationwide lockdown as a preventive measure against COVID-19 outbreak, and seized six motorcycles from the roadside.

On the other hand, Kamrup district Additional Deputy Commissioner Gauri Sankar Sarmah, Boko revenue circle officer Pinky Dutta and Chamaria Revenue Circle officer Aditi Gogoi also simultaneously patrolled the Boko assembly constituency area. Boko revenue circle officer Pinky Dutta said that two mobile vegetables vans would be providing vegetables in Boko area and the service had started from Saturday. Vegetables would be provided door-to-door.
