BPF will get absolute majority and will form BTC government: Kampa Borgoyari

KOKRAJHAR: Senior party leader of the BPF and Deputy Chief of BTC Kampa Borgoyari has asserted that their party will get an absolute majority in the ensuing BTC election and will form the next government in BTC.

Borgoyari was welcomed by in a welcome ceremony organized by Chirang Duar Block BPF at Runikhata in Chirang district on Thursday. Dozens of members from different political parties and organizations also joined the BPF in the meeting. Borgoyari welcomed the members who joined the party with traditional Aronai. Senior party leaders of the BPF including Probin Boro, former Speaker of BTC Paniram Brahma, president of BSU Swmaosar Basumatary and others took part in the meeting.

Later, talking to reporters, Borgoyari said this time too, the BPF will get absolute majority and will form the new council government led by Hagrama Mohilary. He said he will not speak about the number to win in the ensuing council election but it is a fact that the BPF will prove absolute majority. He said the prospect of BPF was far better than it was before as every community has support to BPF.

Borgoyari said his winning from Chirang Duar's constituency was beyond doubt and claimed that there is no fear factor for him. He said his position became far better than the 2015 BTC election as supporters from all communities are it Adivasis, Bodos, Gorkhas, Rajbongshis, Bengalis have come to him and extending moral and physical support for his victory. He further said he did not see any hurdle or eminent factor in his constituency.
