Brahmaputra Chemical & Polymer Limited celebrates Independence Day in Dibrugarh district

DIBRUGARH: The Managing Director of Brahmaputra Chemical & Polymer Limited (BCPL), Reep Hazarika unfurled the Tricolour on the occasion of the 76th Independence Day at BCPL Township. Hazarika inspected the march past of the CISF contingent and addressed the BCPL employees and their family members. In his address, Hazarika thanked everyone for joining in the Independence Day celebrations and supporting the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. During the occasion rank holders of HSLC and HS examination from Dibrugarh district were felicitated. Employees and their family members performed cultural functions. A friendly football match was held between BCPL employees and CISF contingent to mark the celebration.

Oil India Limited (OIL) also celebrated the day with full fervour at the Nehru Maidan Play ground at Duliajan in Dibrugarh district. Resident Chief Executive of OIL, Prasanta Borkakoty ceremoniously hoisted the Tricolour followed by the National Anthem. Union Minister of State for P& NG and L&E, Rameswar Teli and Duliajan MLA, Teros Gowala attended the function as chief guest and guest of honour, respectively.
