Tezpur: Earthquake of magnitude 3.6 on the Richter scale jolted Sonitpur in Assam at 4:53 AM on Friday, June 11, National Center for Seismology said. No damage or casualty has been reported so far. Mild tremors were also felt in Guwahati. Sonitpur has been experiencing shocks since the big tremor measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale that shook up most parts of Guwahati at around 7:52 AM on April 28, 2021. The epicentre was Sonitpur.
