BONGAIGAON: A ceremonial certificate distribution programme under Mission Bhumiputra, Government of Assam, was organized in the Bongaigaon district.
Deputy Commissioner of Bongaigaon, Nabadeep Pathak inaugurated the certificate distribution programme held in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner office, Bongaigaon. A total of 1,110 SC & ST certificates were distributed to school students, and the principals/Headmasters of the schools.
The Principals/Headmasters were directed to distribute the SC & ST Certificates ceremonially to the students of their respective schools within September 9. A total of 106 government and private High schools, Higher Secondary schools and junior colleges were covered under this scheme in Bongaigaon district.
Mogen Narah, Additional Deputy Commissioner, and Jyotsna Rani Barman, District Elementary Education Officer-cum-Inspector of Schools (ic), BDC, Bongaigaon were also present in the programme.
